Aboriginal Health in Aboriginal Hands
Deliver Physiotherapy services with the Northern Territory's largest Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation.

Base Salary: $100,210 - $112,222 (p.a.)
Total Effective Package: $123,479 - $137,115 (p.a.)*
12 month Maximum Term contract
Part Time, minimum 0.6FTE (22.5 hrs per week), with scope to increase to Full Time

About the role
Exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team of allied health clinicians delivering high quality services in remote Australia.
The Congress physiotherapist provides culturally-responsive, safe and high-quality physiotherapy services for Aboriginal people within the Central Australian community. Services are delivered across a number of clinical and community settings, including the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP). The NDIS physiotherapist delivers services primarily to clients living with disability, but may carry a small aged care caseload in addition to this.
The NDIS physiotherapist will support clients to optimise movement and function to enable independence and social participation. Wherever possible, the NDIS physiotherapist will foster self-determination of clients and community by facilitating choice and control over service delivery.
The role is primarily based in Alice Springs; occasional remote travel may be a requirement of this position.
