About the role
You will be working alongside our current team members in a multidisciplinary health environment. You will administer assessments, provide direct and indirect intervention, and liaise with families, teachers, key stakeholders & support staff.
You will assist people in overcoming limitations caused either by injury or illness, psychological or emotional difficulties, and developmental delay or the effects of aging. You will also assist people in moving from dependence to independence while maximising their productivity, well-being, and quality of life.

Duties:
Assist adults, adolescents and children who have a disability or developmental delay to work towards increased functional independence and social participation.
Provision of interventions to both participants and their families, including assessments, recommendations, therapy/training.

We are looking for a suitably qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful applicant will be hand-picked based on their passion and commitment to creating change in our community.
An ideal candidate will work collaboratively with an experienced Clinical and Allied Health team to deliver high-quality services to NDIS participants.
Experience and qualifications required
Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or Bachelor/Master of Occupational Therapy, Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration, Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures impacting the delivery of services to people with a disability, Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle, Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance, and NDIS Screening Check, Ability to build rapport with clients and their families to make therapy enjoyable and engaging, Excellent time management and organisational skills, Strong written and verbal communication skills, Willingness to travel to remote communities.

Competitive remuneration - You will receive a generous above-award salary of $90,000-$120,000 p/a depending on experience, plus entitlements and Superannuation.
