Ndis Mentor / Assistant Participant Engagement Lead

Youth Options is seeking an efficient, organised, and friendly individual with experience in NDIS and disability services to take on the dual role of NDIS Assistant Participant Engagement Lead / NDIS Mentor.
In this role, you will work closely with young people, families, and stakeholders to assist them in accessing our NDIS services from the initial enquiry, throughout service delivery, and during the transition process, ensuring a seamless and tailored experience.
This is a casual role, available initially for approximately 19 hours per week.

We are looking for someone who: Has a sound understanding of person-centered thinking and participant choice and control.
Possesses knowledge of a range of disabilities, including neurodiversity, learning disabilities, chronic health disorders, and mental health conditions.
Has the ability to plan and develop flexible approaches to assist participants in achieving their NDIS goals.
Demonstrates exceptional customer service and engagement skills, delivering tailored services to meet participant needs.
Can work independently, manage time effectively, and plan and organise workloads.
Has strong IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and other cloud-based software.
Is willing to work within prescribed systems and procedures, adhering to confidentiality and relevant legislation.
Understands duty of care, mandatory reporting, and professional conduct within the NDIS framework.
