Ndis Clinical Nurse Consultant

The role involves overseeing and maintaining NDIS Health/Clinical policies and procedures, auditing NDIS teams against standards, and managing clinical data collection. Key responsibilities include reviewing new participant intakes, coordinating complex hospitalisations and discharge planning, advocating for participant needs at medical appointments, and managing high-risk cases. The role also includes assessing health-related incidents, ensuring corrective actions, and providing ad-hoc clinical advice in response to clinical deterioration.
This is an exciting new role and reports to the Director NDIS.
Permanent full-time, based in Newcastle. Our service delivery is across Mid North Coast, Central Coast, Upper Hunter, Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.

Experience in the Health, NDIS, Community Care or a demonstrated understanding of these sectors. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with integrity and a high work ethic. Demonstrated experience in client assessment, care planning and documentation. Effective communication skills – verbal, written and oral. Integrity and high work ethic with approachable and collaborative nature. Well organised and consistent in high quality delivery of services. Team focused and ability to work autonomously. Proven adherence to legislation, policies and procedures. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Who we are?
