NDIS Business Development Manager required for a permanent opportunity

Hays are excited to be partnering with a niche community and residential disability service provider who are looking for a Business Development and Client Engagement Manager to join their close-knit team on a permanent basis.
This is a very exciting opportunity for someone with extensive NDIS experience to showcase their knowledge and develop meaningful business.
Your new role
Client Engagement and Business Development:
Develop and implement growth strategies to attract new clients to the organisation
Manage client intake services, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the client is fully transitioned into the business
Develop an effective referral pathway model for leads, implement and maintain systems to track referrals and referral pipelines
Develop new and existing relationships with key service providers, government bodies, hospitals, Support Coordinators and referral pathway stakeholders
Promote the business with contributions to marketing collateral, website, social media and advertising
Compile monthly reports for the leadership team
Develop collaborative working relationships with clients, families and Support Coordinators.
Encourage capacity building and promote choice, control and inclusion
Attend inter-agency meetings, promoting the organisations' services to gain referrals/leads
Client intake and onboarding:
Manage the intake of new clients and referrals for community access and SIL/STA/MTA accommodation
Undertake intake assessments, risk assessments, client matching for community and accommodation services and conduct house visits to meet residents and inspect conditions
Respond to phone enquiries, set up intake appointments and conduct meetings with potential clients and families
Develop an understanding of the clients clinical requirements and communicate this appropriately
Support Planning and Documentation:
Provide expert advice regarding NDIS plans, budgets, utilisation and service offerings designed to maximise outcomes for clients
Ensure that clients are supported to identify, choose and manage their own routines
Work in conjunction with Accommodation and Community Managers to assist with service delivery
Complete onboarding documentation including intake and risk assessments, service agreements, support plans and community access
Manage and audit client satisfaction feedback, implement quality initiatives that support ongoing quality improvement
Organisational:
Promote organisational culture as integral to core practice
Support and participate in internal and external certifications and auditing programs
Compliance with the organisation's values, policies and procedures, code of conduct and Government legislation and standards
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum of 3 years' service delivery experience in the disability services industry including experience in referral intake and assessments
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Health Services, Marketing or related field
Market research and analysis experience, ability to identify business opportunities and grow your client base
Stakeholder management experience across multi-disciplinary teams and families
High level written and verbal communication skills, strong time management and autonomy
Knowledge of legislation and regulations covering disability services in WA
Knowledge of the Quality & Safeguards Commission including funding arrangements
Ability to work outside of normal office hours when required
Current NDIS Worker Screener Check, Current Australian Drivers Licence and National Police Clearance
