Located in Ballarat , Nazareth Care is a fully accredited, not-for-profit organisation and home to 145 residents. Nazareth House provides excellence in person centred and clinical care, with respect and compassion for all - Aged Care from the heart.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lifestyle and Wellbeing Team Leader to join our friendly team on a Full Time basis.
As the Wellbeing/Lifestyle Assistant Team Leader , you will be assisting in the delivery of meaningful, person centred activities, enhancing the social, mental and physical wellbeing of our residents.
What you will be doing: Leading and mentoring a team Implementing social calendars and wellbeing programs Delivering meaningful and person centred activities Facilitating exercises, events, games and other recreational activities Engaging with residents, family members and a skilled Care team About You: Experience delivering Lifestyle programs and activities Certificates in Aged Care/Individual Support or Lifestyle/Leisure beneficial Strong leadership skills A fun and energetic personality with a passion for making a difference Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Experience in Horticulture, Art, Craft, Woodworking, Floristry, Jewellery making would be highly regarded NDIS Screening Check and NDIS Training Module (or willing to obtain) Experience working with residents living with Dementia advantageous What we can offer you: Continuing professional development Not for Profit Salary Packaging - up to $18,550 tax free A family friendly organisation that values its employees A friendly and supportive team environment Rewards Program, Retail Discounts and other benefits Nazareth Care prides itself on fostering an inclusive culture that cultivates respect of individual differences, embracing diversity.
