We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ELICOS (English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students) Teacher to join our team in Adelaide, Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English language lessons to international students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Responsibilities Plan and deliver interactive and student-centered English language lessons that cater to different proficiency levels and learning styles Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and language practice Develop and adapt curriculum materials, resources, and assessments to meet the needs of the students Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback and support Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure consistency in teaching approaches Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with industry trends Qualifications Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) Lesson planning and curriculum development skills Knowledge of teaching methodologies (e.g. Communicative Language Teaching) Proficiency in using educational technology and multimedia tools Experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds Bachelor's degree in Education, TESOL, Linguistics or related field TESOL/TEFL certification preferred How to Apply Please apply online including your resume and a cover letter.
