You'll play a crucial role in delivering our Natural Environment operational program and will support the team with restoration, rehabilitation and maintenance of our Natural Areas.What your day will look like:Providing day to day operational guidance to your team and contractorsOrganising resources for projects, conscious of timeframesEnsuring relevant paperwork is completed including timesheets, record sheets, and log booksManaging contractors ensuring they are providing valueEnsuring accurate records are kept to assist decision makingExperience in ecological restoration and revegetation, ideally a qualification in Conservation and Land Management, Arboriculture or HorticultureExperience in planting semi advanced treesExperience in a team leader or supervisor role with the ability to coach and mentor a teamStrong communication and engagement skillsA positive health and safety attitudeConstruction White CardCurrent Class C Drivers LicenceBenefits of Working with CouncilCommitted to providing quality services to our community, we strongly support an inclusive and values driven culture, recognising your individual skills, knowledge and talent.
