We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Native Title & Heritage Advisor to join our Power and Development team in Perth on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting to the Planning & Environment Manager, you will build, manage and maintain trusting, respectful and productive relationships with traditional owners, have a good moral compass and acts with integrity, support the negotiation of native title agreements, arrange heritage surveys, prepare cultural heritage approvals and management plans and provide advice in relation to the native title and heritage requirements for new power projects in the Pilbara.
Key Responsibilities Supporting a culture of Zero Harm and environmental responsibility Contributing to the development and design of innovative land access and impact mitigation strategies to provide a competitive advantage in winning new projects Identifying, scheduling and managing aspects of the native title and heritage workstreams for key projects Developing and managing strong relationships with traditional owners and other key stakeholders Understanding and ensuring projects comply with relevant regulatory, governance and community requirements About You A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline Project development or project management experience on infrastructure projects from $10m to $100m+ Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with capacity to influence and negotiate Experience in a similar role in infrastructure, energy or mining projects or a registered native title body corporate Ability and willingness to travel to the Pilbara, including remote areas Working at APA At APA we're committed to fostering a safe and inclusive workplace where you can achieve your best.
