The Role:
We are on the lookout for an experienced National Wholesale Manger to support our international expansion efforts and drive strategic partnerships with key Australian retailers.
This pivotal role will see you working alongside the General Manager to lead and implement the wholesale sales strategy, both domestically and internationally.
You'll be responsible for developing relationships with key retailers, building partnerships, and ensuring our products are represented in line with our brand vision.
As the National Wholesale Manager, you will play a critical role in expanding Sass Clothing's market presence, driving growth, and ensuring the business remains operationally efficient while enhancing customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development & Execution: Collaborate with the General Manager to set clear wholesale sales targets and strategies for both domestic and international markets.
- Business Development: Proactively seek and secure new business opportunities and partnerships to drive market expansion.
- Key Retail Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with major retailers, including David Jones, Myer, and other key national accounts.
- International Expansion: Partner with our international sales agents to drive market entry and growth in the UK, as well as identify further international expansion opportunities.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze sales data, identify market trends, and take a proactive approach to improve retailer performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Customer Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to align retail campaigns with the GTM calendar.
- Brand Representation: Ensure our brand is always represented in alignment with our guidelines and values in the marketplace.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams – including production and supply chain – to meet customer expectations and build effective, long-term relationships.
You'll Need:
- Extensive Wholesale Experience: Proven experience in wholesale sales, particularly in a B2B fashion business.
Experience working with major retailers and their buyers is crucial.
- Sales Excellence: A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales KPIs and targets.
- Negotiation & Influencing Skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence key stakeholders and partners.
- Exceptional Communication: Strong presentation and communication skills – you're an ambassador for the brand and take pride in this.
- Self-Motivation & Independence: A strong work ethic, the ability to work autonomously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to inform strategy and decision-making.
- International Experience: Experience in international wholesale is preferred, but not essential.
