We take pride in being a leading provider of integrated business solutions!About the OpportunityThe National Warehouse Manager, reporting to the General Manager, plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimising the operations of multiple warehouses across Australia.Based in Kemps Creek, Western Sydney, this dynamic position offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence, improve efficiencies, and ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and 5S practices.The role involves strategic planning, leadership of high-performing teams, and collaboration with key stakeholders across logistics, forwarding, and distribution to achieve continuous improvement and cost-effective operations.Your responsibilities will include:Operations management, including development of warehouse strategies, overseeing performance across multiple locations, budget management and ensuring SOP consistency and efficiency.Inventory control, storage optimisation, and facilities, equipment and assets management.Leading and mentoring warehouse teams to foster continuous improvement.Adherence to safety regulations and leading environmental and quality assurance compliance.Setting and monitoring KPIs, analysing data for improvements, and costs management.Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including customer service, sales, and operations to support new business implementation and pricing consistence and accuracy.About youAs a successful candidate, you will possess:10+ years' experience in logistics, with at least 7+ years in warehouse management, including multi-site management.Proven track record in senior warehouse or logistics management, ideally in a national or multi-site role.Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management, and distribution networks.Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.In-depth understanding of Australian workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations.At Nippon Express, we value your contributions and celebrate your role in our collective success.
