We are seeking a hands-on, experienced National Sales Manager to deliver exceptional results in this competitive market.
Role Overview:
As the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the sales strategy across Australia.
You will directly engage with key customers, distributors, and partners to achieve sales targets and strengthen/grow market share.
Your in-depth knowledge of the wine industry will be critical to developing effective strategies and identifying new growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement national sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share.Cultivate strong relationships with key customers, distributors in the independents channel, and industry partners.Directly manage large accounts and high-value relationships across multiple channels.Identify new business opportunities and market trends to expand our customer base.Monitor and analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to refine sales strategies.Report directly to the CEO & provide regular reporting on sales achievements and forecasts.Work closely with marketing, product, and logistics teams to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction.Key Requirements: Extensive experience in sales management within the wine industry (minimum 5 years), specifically in the independent channel with both end users and distributors.Proven track record of driving sales growth and implementing market share growth strategies with a large focus on the independent channel.Deep knowledge of the Australian wine market, including distribution, trends, and key players.Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.Hands-on approach with the ability to manage accounts and sales processes at all levels.Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to make informed decisions.A passion for wine and an understanding of the consumer market.Desirable: Existing relationships with key industry stakeholders (distributors & hospitality).A background in premium wine sales and brand positioning.Experience working with Endeavour Group and Coles Liquor is highly desirable.Why Join Us?
