The role: An opportunity has arisen for an experienced National Sales Manager with strong commercial acumen to join the team in this pivotal role, driving sales, developing the sales team, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a well-established national sales team, consisting of both internal and external salespeople. You will be responsible for:
National sales team's productivity and performance - 7 reports - including development and performance managementAttracting, developing, and managing a key group of national/major clients of your ownEfficiently allocating resources to support the sales function company-wideWorking with the CEO to ensure market-level strategic and business objectives are met by the sales teamDirecting and supporting the implementation of sales initiativesManaging the performance of individual sales team members by implementing/managing field support tools, including training programs, productivity initiatives, account and territory planning methodologies, and customer communication toolsLeading sales forecasting as requiredAssessing and validating customer requirements and satisfaction by engaging with key accounts alongside allocated account managersManagement-level point of contact for key customersWorking with the Product and Marketing Manager to ensure suitable ROI on marketing expenditureEssential criteria: Substantial sales leadership experience, preferably at a national levelHeight safety industry experienceCurrent Australian driver's licenceAbility to travel within Australia at regular intervalsFull Australian work rightsStrategic thinker with strong business acumenStrong customer focus with exceptional negotiation skillsSound project leadership and decision-making skillsHigh levels of professionalism, resilience, and credibility with all stakeholdersIf you feel you have the necessary experience and personal qualities to excel in this role, and you meet all essential criteria, apply now with a current CV or call Anouk on (02) 4736 3666 for a confidential discussion to explore your suitability.
