About the role
As the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the management of our sales portfolios across dairy semen, beef semen, merchandise, and services. A key part of this role will be strategic management of the field sales team, as well as internal and external stakeholder management.
Management of Sales Operations, such as monitoring of sales targets, acquiring new business, development of sales strategies, staying abreast of industry trends, account management for key clients.
Management of Sales Team; actively support the sales team through coaching and mentorship, develop and monitor regional sales and budget plans.
Support of Marketing Activities; support the Marketing Team with the development of campaign planning.
Relationship management; maintain and grow customer and member relationships, optimisation of CRM procedures.
Sales Support: through sales reporting, sales team meetings, and general sales team communication.
Skills required
A proven ability to both lead & manage a Sales Team.
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills and have a proven track record of sales success.
Be an excellent negotiator.
Have advanced computer skills (Microsoft 365).
Be aware of the importance of the impact of effective promotion and marketing.
Have demonstrated an ability of project leadership.
Possess a strong product and industry knowledge.
Have an understanding of the cattle breeding industry / selection by genetic merit.
