About the Role:
As the National Sales Leader, you will be at the helm of a talented sales team spread across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Sales Director, your role will involve crafting and executing national sales plans while building and maintaining strong relationships with key partners. This is a pivotal position where you will guide strategic direction, optimize operational outcomes, and drive the company's objectives in a rapidly evolving, competitive market.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Sales Director to create and implement nationwide sales strategies, with an emphasis on growth, market expansion, and partner engagement. Lead, inspire, and manage Regional Sales Managers across multiple territories, ensuring targets are met and operational standards are upheld. Monitor and enhance performance metrics, aligning them with corporate objectives, and continually seek process improvements for greater efficiency. Cultivate and manage key partnerships, driving the company's market reach and ensuring strong relationships with industry stakeholders. Evaluate market trends, analyse competitive landscapes, and provide insights that inform strategic decisions. Oversee major sales initiatives, including industry events, campaigns, and financial management, ensuring budgetary goals are met. Foster a culture of mentorship, performance excellence, and succession planning within the sales team. Requirements: Extensive experience in senior sales leadership, open to exceptional sales leaders from outside the industry. Proven success in achieving sales objectives and managing large, dispersed teams. Expertise in developing and implementing national sales plans and driving business growth. Strong leadership capabilities, particularly in guiding teams through change and enhancing operational efficiency. Solid commercial insight, with experience in managing P&L responsibilities. Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and engage both internal and external stakeholders. Must have experience working in a corporate environment. Willingness to travel regularly across the country. A degree in Business Management or a related discipline is highly regarded.
