ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a National Safety Manager to join our management team and lead the strategic development and direction of our delivery-focused safety programs, to support our mission of making our environments safer and communities sustainable.
With the responsibility of continuing to enhance Enviropacific's safety culture, the National Safety Manager will operationally support the development and execution of targeted safety initiatives while also consolidating a robust national governance framework.
Key responsibilities will include: Consistent national delivery-focused operational support.Cultural safety leadership and empowering team development.Risk management and governance oversight.Safety performance improvement, incident response and targeted training program roll-out.ABOUT YOU You will be a highly experienced Senior Manager with a passion to continue leading positive cultural change within an organisation which places the highest priority on the health, safety and wellbeing of its employees and the communities within which it operates.
To be successful in this position, you will have: 15+ years within the construction or infrastructure sector, with extensive experience in project delivery-focused positions.Demonstrated experience in Management roles working across the entire project lifecycle.Experience presenting to and influencing senior management within organisations.A bachelor's degree in health and safety, civil engineering or related discipline.The ability to build strong rapport and buy-in at all levels of the organisation.Strong demonstrated experience for effectiveness and continuous improvement.A pragmatic and solutions-oriented approach to safety management.A high level of self-confidence and organisational resilience.WHAT WE GIVE YOU IN RETURN Rewarding and important work that makes a difference to the community and the environment.
