The Role

Due to growth, the need for a newly created National Quality Manager has arisen to join the team in Melbourne.
Reporting to the APAC Operations Director, the National Quality Manager will play a crucial role in elevating and standardising quality practices across all manufacturing sites.

Your responsibilities will include: Introduce and maintain best-in-class manufacturing methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop efficient procedures accordingly.
Actively manage and develop a multi-tiered Quality team, providing the necessary training, mentorship, and support
Investigate customer complaints and issues to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Perform regular audits of production processes, products, and suppliers to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Report directly to the SLT, working collaboratively to implement a cohesive quality strategy

Skills & Experience 6-10 years of Quality Management experience in manufacturing
Proven history to implement, initiate and drive change and process improvement
Be an innovative thinker that embraces culture and someone that will be able to lead in a hands-on and collaborative style, promoting good behaviours.
Culturally, you will bring passion, hunger and enthusiasm for change with a focus on team development, improvements and collaboration.
Strong communication skills and a professional approach
