About the RoleADRA Australia Limited is seeking an experienced and organized Programs Assistant to join our National Programs team. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to facilitate the success of our programs.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide general clerical duties and administrative services to support the National Programs team.Manage databases and information systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.Assist with the implementation of strategic plans for programmatic matters.Collaborate with various stakeholders, including church conference and local management committees, program personnel, donors, and volunteers.Essential CriteriaCommitment to the purpose of ADRA Australia Limited and to the achievement of our overall strategy and priorities.Willingness to work within a Christian ethos with conduct that is respectful of the beliefs and practices of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.A related diploma/degree with at least two years' experience in business administration and/or related experience.Attention to Detail – Demonstrated ability to accurately manage and maintain records, documents, and processes.Communication Skills – Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in effectively interacting with both professional staff and volunteers.Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and facilitate administrative processes.Organizational Skills – Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain an organized workflow.Demonstrated capacity to support research activities and advocacy activities.Confidentiality and Integrity – A high level of discretion and integrity, with experience in handling sensitive information.Technical Proficiency – Proficient in data management in various software programs, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.Desirable CriteriaProven ability to contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures.Experience in working in the not-for-profit/NGO area.BenefitsHybrid office and remote working model.NFP salary packaging options, plus meals and entertainment benefits.Employee Assistance Program.
