THE ROLE The Group Procurement Manager is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of a nationwide program to improve efficiency and sustainability across our Procurement and Supply Chain model. This role will have full accountability for developing the strategy, operating framework, and team structure to deliver a centralized and integrated procurement function that will work with all business units to unlock potential and deliver real value to them individually and the business collectively.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE You will have experience in developing appropriate business unit category and vendor spend strategies aligning to the group's category strategy. You will be confident in contributing to negotiations with providers to secure cost savings across the business; lead procurement evaluations; develop vendor management processes and reporting and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
Lead and manage Scape's procurement function, including creating and implementing a procurement strategic plan;Provide specialist, technical advice and guidance to business areas in relation to all procurement activities;Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, key suppliers, and vendors;Oversee procurement activities across various categories, ensuring effective sourcing and procurement processes;Design and deliver training programs to ensure that they meet the needs of the business and equip Operational team members with the necessary skills to perform their role well in line with our Procurement Policy;Identify and implement improvements to systems, policies, and processes to achieve efficiencies and better outcomes for Scape;Build a strong understanding and capability on all systems, platforms, tools required to deliver a successful procurement implementation across Scape;Contribute to regular reports provided to key internal and external stakeholders regarding training provided and Scape's compliance with various regulations, legislation, or policies.PERKS & BENEFITS At Scape, we're all about creating and sharing good vibes.
