Mauri is seeking applications for a National Procurement Manager based at our Head Office in Enfield.
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, this is a pivotal role within the GWF & ABF procurement community, providing a unique opportunity to have a balance of strategy, leadership and category management to advance your procurement career.
This position entails managing key ingredients categories while leading a Procurement team of three as well as driving strategic initiatives for Mauri/GWF.
Key requirements of the role include: Lead the ingredients portfolio, achieving cost/spend reduction targets and managing risks effectively.
Collaborate with the Head of Supply Chain to create a procurement strategy that enhances competitive advantage and supports overall business goals.
Foster a high-performing team culture through constructive leadership, coaching, and promoting personal growth while driving engagement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring compliance and high performance to maximize value.
Drive sustainability goals through responsible sourcing and ethical supply chains, enhancing the organization's ESG leadership.
Effectively manage and implement change within the team and across procurement functions, ensuring adaptability to market dynamics.
This role will require a strong background in procurement leadership.
Key skills include a deep understanding of supply chain performance drivers, expertise in procurement strategy development, and strong category management capabilities.
Proven leadership abilities to manage and motivate teams effectively are essential, alongside superior stakeholder management skills and strong financial acumen.
Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities are required, along with exceptional influencing and negotiation skills.
A history of successful project management, combined with a high energy level, passion for the business, and the ability to constructively challenge the status quo, is crucial.
A degree in Business or Finance is desirable but not essential.
