About our Opportunity This National Procurement Manager role will oversee all aspects of our glass acquisition, with responsibility in securing the best quality glass products at competitive prices for our nationwide operations.
You'll manage supplier relationships with key glass manufacturers and ensure we adhere to all relevant Australian building codes and regulations.
You'll play a key role in our continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline procurement processes and optimise overall glass purchasing costs.
You will also be required to regularly review, plan, and execute in-market delivery programs to maximise service level, safety and performance in our organisation.
The role can be based at either one of our glass plants in Rowville, VIC or Staplyton, QLD.
About You We require a Procurement Manager with experience in procurement category management, ideally from the Australian Glass processing industry.
Your expertise in glass types, market trends, and negotiation strategies will be crucial in securing cost-effective and timely glass supplies to meet VENTORA's production demands.
Naturally a people person with the ability to influence external suppliers and service your internal stakeholders, your strengths will be your high level of communication skills, technical aptitude along with analytical skills.
You will have: Tertiary qualifications in Inventory/Procurement e.g.
