Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 per year (seniority depending)

This role will report into the General Manager of Operations and be based in Richmond.
Key Responsibilities: Optimising purchasing & related processes across the company, ensuring the timely procurement of goods and services at competitive prices. Ensuring that the retail teams have appropriate stock levels held in each location. Maintaining competitive sell prices that maximise market share and long-term profit. Support colleagues to achieve their goals and expectations. Regular Duties Include: Maintain high levels of communication with internal and external stakeholders in a way that reflects our company's Purpose and Values, Code of Conduct and Conditions of Employment. Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans aligned with organisational objectives. Maximise availability of top selling SKUs across the business. Analyse sales trends, manage inventory levels, and make data-driven decisions to maximise sales and minimise stockouts. Collaborate with merchandising, planning, and logistics teams to develop allocation plans aligned with sales forecasts, promotional activities, and seasonal trends. Assist in the development and implementation of inventory allocation policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize inventory utilization, minimize costs, and mitigate risks. Essential Skills and Experience Required: Experience in retail operations, purchasing, inventory management / stock control. Highly developed communication skills, including negotiation. Organised, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Highly Regarded Skills: Exposure to Pronto (ERP software) Knowledge in (and love for!) DJ & Pro Audio musical equipment.
