Toll Global Logistics is seeking a highly motivated National Operations Manager to join our National team.
This position is customer facing primarily based at Minchinbury with travel to other sites expected.
As the National Operations Manager, you will:
Team Development & Leadership: Enhance the team's ability to meet KPIs and manage customer relations.
Coach, mentor, and manage the operations team to maximize output.Budget Management: Participate in setting and meeting budgets, including forecasting.Operational Excellence & Safety and Compliance: Maintain high standards in customer service, safety, and environmental performance.
Ensure all safety and legislative requirements are met.Customer Focus & Relations: Ensure a customer-first mindset across operations.
Maintain a strong working relationship with key customers like Woolworths.Continuous Improvement: Develop initiatives for growth and innovation, and continuously improve business processes.Operational Efficiency: Ensure on-time delivery and cost-efficient operations.What We're Looking For Tertiary qualification in Logistics Management or Business or related discipline.Proven experience in a similar role within the transport or logistics industry.
Strong leadership and team development skills.Excellent understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and cost management.In-depth knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.Exceptional customer service orientation & Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation.You must be entitled to work in Australia and be prepared to undertake pre-employment checks including a criminal history check and medical.
