About the office Student Administration at the University of Notre Dame provides expertise, service and operational support across a broad range of student administration, student service and key regulatory, policy and compliance functions that support the academic decisions of the Faculties, Schools and other relevant departments at the university.
About the role The National Manager Student Services and Graduations reports to the Director Student Administration and is responsible for managing and delivering a high standard of complex student administration across a broad range of domains including examinations, student record management, international student compliance and graduation and related academic administration.
In a coordinated national approach this role supports three campuses situated in WA and NSW.
Key Responsibilities Manage staff within the Student Services and Graduation team.
Oversee a broad range of operational activities involved in Student Services and Graduations including student records management, examinations, graduation administration management, international student record compliance, student records management.
Manage and lead issues across Student Administration to improve efficiencies for internal and external client service.
Ensure the accuracy of academic administration linked to graduation to ensure compliance with university obligations and procedures.
Analyse and identify ways in which the service can enhance the student experience.
Develop and implement efficient systems for collecting, processing, storage, retrieval, release, analysis, security and integrity of student academic records.
Qualifications, skills & experience Postgraduate qualification and extensive relevant experience, or extensive management experience and proven management expertise or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Experienced in management of complex student administration information across a range of domains (both domestic and international) including issues identification and management.
Experience in managing large scale projects of student centric events and team management.
Knowledge in implementing a systematic and organised approach and developing and utilising guidelines and procedures.
Detailed understanding of strategic priorities of Student Administration, including student administration, services and systems, and the linkages to compliance and internal and external client service Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing measures to monitor service requirements, including appropriate user feedback mechanisms to meet relevant KPI's.
Effective stakeholder management.
Capacity to work collaboratively and across organisations boundaries and build effective relationships both internally and externally with strong and clear communication skills.
