We are expanding our operations in Australia and are currently recruiting a National Manager, Safety to join our team ASAP.
You will lead and inspire a high-performing team of HR professionals, driving safety and wellbeing initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture. Working closely with senior leadership, you will provide strategic direction, expert advice, and innovative solutions to ensure compliance and promote a safety-conscious environment.
In your new role, you will: Mentor and develop a large team of HR professionals to support their growth and success.Provide expert advice on workplace health, safety, and wellbeing to executives and managers.Lead the management of workers' compensation policies, injury claims, and rehabilitation programs.Implement frameworks to foster a high-performing safety culture and achieve zero harm goals.Develop and maintain WHS policies and guidelines to minimise organisational risk.Engage staff at all levels to embed a Safety Management Framework and build a safety-focused culture.Deliver strategic advice, education, and awareness initiatives to strengthen WHS capability.Analyse and report on WHS performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.Demonstrate extensive experience in WHS leadership, policy development, and compliance.Showcase strategic problem-solving skills and the ability to lead cultural change.Exhibit strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building capabilities.ABOUT YOUYou are a strategic leader with extensive experience in workplace health and safety, known for driving cultural change and fostering collaboration. Your ability to mentor teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver innovative solutions enables you to embed a strong safety culture across complex environments.
To be successful, you will: Provide high-level advice on legislation, policies, and best practices.Possess tertiary qualifications in workplace health and safety or a related field.Gain and retain all police/security clearances required within our industry.Pass any required health assessments.Work within immigration centres.Travel both interstate and overseas to meet business demands.Provide proof of double vaccination against Covid-19 with a vaccine recognised in Australia.Undergo alcohol and drug testing as required by the business.For more information about the role please call the Project Recruitment Team on or simply click Apply Now and our recruitment team will prioritise your application.
