About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead and drive the strategic direction of their engineering operations. This pivotal role will involve overseeing the lifecycle management of vessels, leading major projects, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders to ensure optimal asset performance. The successful candidate will champion a safety-first culture, build and develop a high-performing Engineering Team, and contribute to the company's long-term growth and innovation. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Sea Swift's operations and ensure its continued success.
Key Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with Board members, Executives, and senior management to lead discussions and decision-making on engineering strategies.
Collaborate with commercial teams to incorporate asset-related insights into business cases and tender responses.
Drive the strategic asset planning process, overseeing vessel lifecycles, new builds, and refurbishments.
Manage engineering support services to ensure optimal vessel performance and asset management efficiency.
Oversee the lifecycle management of vessels, optimising maintenance strategies and operational effectiveness.
Lead Sea Swift's project management processes, ensuring the successful execution of major vessel projects, refits, and new builds.
Maintain rigorous internal controls and governance in line with regulatory and company standards.

About You
You will demonstrate a strong background in engineering management, ideally within the maritime or logistics sectors. You will have proven leadership skills, a track record of delivering operational excellence, and a passion for driving innovation and sustainability. Experience in asset management, safety leadership, and strategic planning is essential. If you are a proactive leader with a vision for the future, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of a leading maritime organisation.
Skills and Experience Required

A degree in Maritime Engineering or a related discipline.
5+ years of proven leadership experience, ideally in a maritime, logistics, or engineering environment.
Extensive project management experience, with a track record of delivering large-scale engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of asset management and maintenance, particularly in vessel lifecycle management and optimisation.
Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
Experience in collaborating with senior stakeholders, providing strategic recommendations, and managing complex commercial and operational needs.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and governance within the maritime industry.
