Slade Health is a national sterile compounding service provider with TGA accredited manufacturing facilities based at Geebung Queensland, Mt.Kuring -gai New South Wales, Mt.Waverley Victoria, Woodville South Australia and Auckland New Zealand. Slade Health produces aseptically compounded pharmaceutical products that include chemotherapy drugs, total parental nutrition, antibiotics and analgesics.
About the role:
We are currently seeking a National Logistics Manager to join our leadership team to oversee warehousing, transport and logistics across multiple facilities. The role is responsible for managing on-time in full deliveries to over 300 hospital & clinical sites daily, supplying to metropolitan and regional customers through an internal courier fleet, while also managing a diverse panel of third party logistics providers. This full-time permanent position and reports to the ANZ Operations Manager, with the flexibility to be based out of any of our national sites.
Key Responsibilities: Manage logistics teams across multiple sites to ensure inventory is maintained, internal courier fleet is managed & compounded orders are dispatched & delivered in full on time. Responsible for inventory control across multiple internal & 3PL warehouses, including cycle counting and stocktakes. Management of the internal vehicle fleet nationally, including vehicle utilisation, fuel spend & road toll reporting. Manage a diverse panel of third party transport & warehousing providers nationally. Ensure site warehouses are maintained & controlled in compliance with TGA and Medsafe licence requirements Understanding of LEAN transport & warehousing principles Drive the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by communicating clear performance expectations, developing and supporting the achievement of company, site and team goals Actively promote a culture of continuous improvement to increase product quality, safety, customer service and employee engagement Identify on-going training needs Liaise with Commercial Operations to ensure timely delivery to customers Key Attributes: Tertiary qualifications in logistics or significant experience in multi-site operations. Knowledge of TGA and Medsafe regulations Previous experience in fleet management with an understanding in Chain of Responsibility & journey management. Experience in developing, coaching and managing a team Highly organised Prior experience in LEAN / 6 SIGMA initiatives. How to Apply:
