National Inventory Analyst | Orchard Hills NSW OR Truganina VICCEVA Logistics provides global supply chain solutions to connect people, products, and providers all around the world. YOUR ROLE The National Inventory Analyst is responsible for delivering high levels of inventory management and control across a key customer account (in the electrical and electronic products and systems space) in our Contract Logistics division.
Based flexibly from either Orchard Hills NSW OR Truganina VIC, the role includes coordinating cycle counts, stock takes, and inventory strategy while ensuring all activities maintain inventory control to agreed service levels at operational sites. The analyst serves as a key liaison for inventory-related matters at the national account level, collaborating with site-based inventory controllers to address customer requests and oversee strategic inventory activities.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? Specifically, you will:
Collaborate with site inventory controllers to address customer requests and key inventory issues while ensuring accurate and timely DCM data for KPI reportingConduct monthly inventory reviews with site inventory controllers to ensure consistency and identify improvement opportunitiesOversee and consolidate key strategic inventory reports at the national account level, ensuring delivery to management and customersIdentify inventory discrepancies, conduct investigations, and prepare reports while managing annual and cyclical stock-taking processesRegularly analyse inventory velocity to identify fast and slow-moving stock, recommending reclassification where appropriate.WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Our ideal candidate has experience in managing warehouse inventory systems or operations, with experience in multi-site operations and cyclical/annual stock takes involving diverse SKUs, together with:
Higher School Certificate or equivalent (tertiary or vocational qualification in logistics / supply chain or similar desirable)Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data manipulation and reportingProficiency in warehouse management systems to manage and control inventoryEffective analytical, critical reasoning, and communication skillsA strong customer service focus with a proactive approach to work, strong initiative, and the ability to work independentlyExcellent verbal and written communication skills.In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
