Otraco (a subsidiary of BMSA) is a world leading provider of Earthmover and Off-road tyre management services to the mining industry.
We have an amazing opportunity for an astute and proactive National PC&G Advisor to join our People, Culture & Governance (PC&G) Team.
This role is based in Western Australia (Kewdale in Perth).
You will collaborate across the combined BMSA/Otraco workforce however will predominantly focus on Otraco's 500+ headcount in WA, NSW and QLD.
THE ROLE Maintain ongoing communication, and provision of necessary advice and support to stakeholders on PC&G issues.
Participate in a variety of PC&G initiatives and provide direction to line managers and employees Ensure consistent application of policies and procedures across all Regions and States Provide advice and assistance on disciplinary procedures, warnings and dismissals Maintain Roster Calculations for Otraco Operations Nationally, create and update as required Provide assistance to Managers and Superintendents with their direct reports' with Probationary Reviews & Performance Feedback and Development Plans Advise and assist Supervisors and Managers of their obligations when managing HR/IR issues Implement succession planning across the business and assist managers in coaching styles relevant to their teams Complete calculations and Payroll Arrangements for any relevant pay increase Liaise with Recruitment Team to ensure a seamless transfer of operational personnel.
ABOUT YOU This role will be working within a small team and be the hub of the business, we require someone with great interpersonal skills, clear communication and high organisational capabilities.
The demands of the role are ever-changing so the need to be flexible is a must.
