Fleet Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time $100,000 – $120,000 + super + company car + bonus PGP GROUP (AUST) PTY LTD (PGP) is one of Australia's leading labour hire companies providing thousands of Pacific Islander Workers nationally to regional and rural business. With a history in agriculture, our business has expanded and grown significantly over the past few years and 2024 sees us looking to invest in new systems and scalable programs to further grow and diversify the business. This growth has led to the creation of this new role. The Role So how does fleet management fit in? The answer – everywhere! To ensure our Workers are safely transported across Australia each day to work at our valued customer sites, as well as for our internal staff to visit our Workers and customers, we provide a range of PGP fleet vehicles to meet specific requirements. This role is critical in providing, maintaining and monitoring a safe working fleet of PGP vehicles through comprehensive planning, forecasting, servicing and compliance PGP grows, our fleet needs are constantly evolving, and this is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark – using your skills to evaluate and optimise existing processes and to design and implement new processes that will drive the business you're looking to take on a challenging yet highly rewarding and critical role to the business, then look no further. Your new role will report to the Director, Business Operations who is a member of the Executive Management Team, so you'll have input to decisions made at the highest level. In this role you will have full responsibility for the management of all PGP Fleet vehicles. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who is excited about helping shape the next phase of the business and lead the transport team to meet the challenges. Key Responsibilities Does this sound like you?Proven experience in fleet management, ideally on a national scale.A transformation mindset with the ability and desire to identify needs and drive change – ultimately creating an optimised fleet management process you can call your own.Ability to manage vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs.Ability to sometimes travel nationally as required.Ability to manage budgets effectively.Strong safety focus with the ability to implement and enforce safety protocols. Excellent at prioritizing tasks, managing multiple deadlines, and keeping operations running smoothly.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with demonstrated experience of building strong working relationships in a respectful, collaborative knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Demonstrated team leadership experience (preferably across multiple sites).Demonstrated experience working with different cultures and nationalities.Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.Ability to build rapport and manage potentially difficult situations.Ability to analyse situations, identify problems and make sound decisions under pressure.Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.Current Valid driver's are keen to hear from youIf you don't meet all the above criteria, we are keen to hear how your core experience will bring immediate value and where we can help develop your skills.
