Account & Relationship Management (Sales) The National Distributor Manager is a senior sales role responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key distributors in the foodservice sector. This role is essential in driving sales growth, improving market presence, and ensuring effective collaboration between the company and its distribution partners.
Key Responsibilities: Full accountability for the management and growth of distributor relationships, ensuring their alignment with the company's sales and business goals.Work closely with distributors to design and execute joint marketing campaigns, promotions, and new product launches to maximise market impact.Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Product Development, Logistics, and Finance, to ensure smooth operations, timely deliveries, and effective distributor support.Provide distributor insights and feedback to internal teams to drive continuous improvement in product offerings, service delivery, and overall distributor satisfaction.Forecast, budget, and track distributor account volume, ensuring precise planning and reporting.Manage contract renewals, term negotiations, and amendments in alignment with the company's commercial strategy.Stay informed of market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies to enhance the company's commercial position in the market.Conduct regular product training sessions, keeping distributors informed about new products, features, and market opportunities.Identify growth opportunities within the distributor network, working closely with the National Sales Manager to convert them into profitable revenue streams.Qualifications: Strong background in managing distributor relationships with a focus on driving revenue growth and market penetration.Extensive experience in negotiating with large corporate accounts, with a track record of delivering profitable agreements.Expertise in developing and delivering product training programs that enhance distributor sales performance.Proficiency in forecasting, budgeting, and reporting on distributor performance, using data to inform strategic decisions.Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.Why Join Us?
