The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) is the national agency responsible for administering the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme (National Scheme) in partnership with 15 National Boards for the regulated health professions.
The National Director, IT Partnerships and Innovation reports to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and serves as a key member of the Technology Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This strategic role is pivotal in managing Ahpra's information technology contract portfolio, ensuring optimal value and commercial viability in partnerships with IT service delivery partners.
The National Director, IT Partnerships and Innovation develops and implements comprehensive business strategies and executable plans aimed at maximising value-for-money across all IT contracts. This involves analysing market trends, negotiating contracts, and fostering strong relationships with service providers to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Strong analytical abilities will enable you to assess market trends and make data-driven decisions. Strong leadership and collaboration skills are essential, as this role requires close coordination with various stakeholders to achieve common objectives.
