We are currently looking for
National Development Coach
to join our team in Perth on a permanent, full-time basis.
About the role
The National Development Coach - Perth is responsible for assisting the National Development Head Coach - Perth in leading and delivering a high-performance tennis program in Western Australia. This position must positively impact athlete and coach development within the state, through communication, education, integration and support. The National Development Coach - Perth is responsible for working with Talent and Performance team members in identifying and developing young athletes, with their private coach, to produce our next junior and senior Grand Slam competitors and champions along with top 100 ATP/WTA players in Australia.
In this role you will:
Assist the National Development Head Coach - Perth in delivering a world class tennis program at the National Talent Development level and to individual athletes.
Executes on court with excellence and professionalism - planning session, synergy between the plan and Daily Training Environment (DTE).
Ensure a holistic approach to athlete development, empowering athletes to perform at their best.
Builds trust and relationships with the athletes, parents and their team.
Managing key stakeholders to ensure best practices and smooth transition of players in and out of National Tennis Academy.
About you
What you will bring to the role:
High Performance coaching qualifications or willingness/ability to attain (mandatory).
Proven ability to develop and implement a high-performance tennis program and environment for developmental and elite tennis athletes.
Strong presentation and communication skills in both one-on-one & group settings.
Extensive experience coaching tennist at an elite national or international level and a successful track record.
Highly developed leadership skills and experience.
Past playing experience at the elite international level (preferred).
