National Credit Manager - Sydney Office - Permanent Full Time This is an amazing opportunity for a Credit Manager to join Domain's finance team & refresh our day-to-day credit management process. This role is responsible for the end-to-end accounts receivable operations and customer billing across the group. These processes should be completed in a manner which is efficient, scalable and supports business growth. You will ensure customer experience is at its best, unallocated receipts are minimal and bad debt exposure is minimised while driving the Domain culture and operational excellence.
This position works closely with Commercial and Sales Operations teams to manage and implement initiatives that centre around process improvement and focus on superior customer experience. This is a hybrid role, based out of either Sydney or Melbourne.
Who are you? The ideal candidate will…
Be the expert in accounts receivable (AR) processes and understand all collection and billing function requirements nationally.Lead, guide and mentor all direct & indirect reports in delivering their core responsibilities, to ensure operational efficiency and the delivery of strong customer solutions and service.Direct and supervise the activities of the outsourced offshore collections team and manage the O2C relationship.Manage day-to-day AR activities of the team including billing, collections, receipting, reconciliations, credit applications and customer.Optimise and manage the AR outsourced relationship including recruitment, training, SLA performance management, process documentation and change processes.Foster a culture of leadership, customer service, continuous improvement, simplification and cost reduction.Be responsible for Bank File Maintenance and Reconciliation.Identify and implement key metrics to effectively measure and manage the collections process and implement process improvements.Produce monthly financial reporting highlighting success and challenges, aged debt, DSO, cash allocations, customer spend and other ad hoc reporting.Be able to work with multiple billing systems (MS D365, Zuora and Xero).Have relevant experience being part of a medium-sized company similar to Domain in a management capacity.Hold relevant tertiary finance/business qualifications as well as Process improvement/Project Management qualifications (Six Sigma, Agile, Lean).Working on a hybrid basis, this is a role that will keep you on your toes.
