Job no: 576543Work type: Part timeLocation: Corporate Services - VIC MetropolitanCategories: OtherExciting opportunity to work with Australia's largest health care providerAn exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and self-motivated National Claims Support Officer to join our National Safety team at Ramsay Health Care on a permanent part-time basis, based in VIC or WA.About the RoleThis position provides administrative and claims support functions to the National and State Workers Compensation Managers to effectively manage workers compensation claims to achieve beneficial claims outcomes for injured workers and the business. This is achieved by ensuring that all parties, including Claims Managers / Third Party Administrators (TPA), Regional Rehabilitation & Return to Work Managers (RR&RTW Managers), and Return to Work Coordinators (RTWC) manage injured workers in a proactive manner to achieve safe and sustainable return to work outcomes.About YouThis role is suited to someone who has experience with claims management and workers compensation payroll processes. Experience working with a workers compensation insurer is preferable. The ability to calculate workers pre-injury average earnings (PIAWE) would be highly regarded. You will also have the following:Excellent administrative and work processing skills;An effective and creative approach to problem-solving;Effective communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required;Previous position within the health industry;Injury management experience.Professional Advancement: Recognition and Professional Development.
