Mates in Construction are seeking a new CEO to lead their national team, Sydney or Brisbane based.Location:Sydney or Brisbane based, travel interstate required at times.About the Organisation:Mates in Construction (MATES) is a National and International leader in workplace suicide prevention, particularly in blue collar industries. MIC provides suicide prevention training through community development programs, on-site training, caseworker and helpline services.The Role:We are seeking a passionate and strategic Chief Executive Officer to lead and coordinate the federated MATES partner organisations' efforts to reduce suicide in the Construction and allied industries (Mining, Energy, and Manufacturing). The National CEO will drive strategic management, provide strong leadership, and leverage industry knowledge to engage key influencers and stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Work effectively within a federated model, ensuring cohesive service delivery across states.Establish and maintain governance standards and policies.Maintain and develop national funding and sponsorship agreements.Build and collaborate with external national stakeholders.Attend networking events, public speaking engagements, and host events.Foster strong internal relationships and a collaborative team environment.Conduct P&L analysis, budget creation, and financial management.Coordinate research, marketing, visual image, and style guides.Essential Qualifications & Skills:Previous executive leadership experience in a senior GM or CEO capacity.Experience and/or qualifications in the mental health, suicide prevention, or not-for-profit sector are highly desirable.Demonstrated ability to understand and navigate industry and industrial agendas and interests.Proven track record in delivering strategic growth and development aligned with research, trends, and corporate goals.Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.Ability to develop and manage effective, mutually beneficial business relationships across various sectors.Commercial acumen with an understanding of growth strategies and change management.Experience in policy development and governance.Financial management and budgeting skills with the ability to analyse P&L statements.Ability to navigate politics and agendas with a non-biased view to achieve MATES' strategic goals.Knowledge of the construction industry is ideal.How to Apply:Beaumont People have been retained to recruit this position on behalf of Mates in Construction.
