$140,000 – $200,000 pkg p/a (NEG dependent on exp)We are one of Australia's leading suppliers to the rapidly evolving Utilities, Building and Construction and Infrastructure industries. With a suite of in-demand products and solutions and the industry sector experiencing unprecedented growth, we are seeking to grow our highly successful Sales Division.After a recent review of our current Sales Structure, we came to the realization that we cannot reach the client networks we want to, or provide the service levels we need to, based on the number of current and prospective clients on our database without change.Moving to a vertical market structure, we are looking for someone who can build effective relationships with key stakeholders, is able to identify opportunities (short, mid and long term) and can play a key part in our next stage of quantum business growth.So, what part will you play within the business?You will be responsible for the growth of existing National client accounts as well as sourcing new business development opportunities within the virtually untapped Utilities sector. Clients actually want and need what we have to offer (our products are often specified in their tenders and our solution-based service offering is unmatched). More often than not, our BDMs hear, where have you been? I wish I'd had your number 12 months ago!Helping us to grow our business by identifying major project opportunities and developing key relationships, we have everything you will need to succeed. An internal sales team of technical specialists and engineers will be there to support your every need, and there is no need to start from scratch.You will be given an existing client portfolio and CRM full of existing leads and current project opportunities which is likely to equate to a substantial amount of your sales budget!Our current BDMs have earned the opportunity to have their own dedicated Sales E.A / Sales Coordinator who not only manages their administrative requirements but also takes care of their travel, expenses, reporting.What will some of your responsibilities be?Building and nurturing key customer stakeholder relationshipsNetworking with key stakeholders to identify and develop opportunitiesGrowing your net portfolio worthWorking with our internal teams to ensure our customer's needs & expectations are exceededIdentify new and upcoming project opportunitiesShowcasing our products and services to the marketTo be successful you will:Be exceptional at building relationships with key stakeholdersHave proven experience within a Sales or BDM role and be able to demonstrate your past successesBe able to listen and take direction as neededBe hungry!
