Lead and develop a team of Business Development Managers through effective coaching, mentoring, professional development, and performance management.Ongoing improvement of business processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, compliance, and consistency.Lead the Shannons Business Development team to contribute to profitable growth by increasing brand awareness and customer engagement; attracting new customers and deepening relationships with existing customers and partners that we serve and do business with. This will be achieved through providing service excellence and creating brand affinity across Shannons Business Development Event activity in the Motor Enthusiast community.
Key responsibilities include: Assist in building and maintaining an environment that encourages staff engagement, promotes service excellence, and recognizes and rewards success.Lead the integration of activity of Shannons Business Development including outbound activity into the Shannons Outbound team.Lead a team that will be focused on Business Development activity specifically related to Shannons Attended Events, Partnerships, COI (Centres of Influence), VIPs, and Car Clubs.Manage, mentor, and develop the team in building and maintaining strong relationships within the Motoring Community.Provide Business Development team performance insights related to results, products, pricing, competitors, and industry.Skills & Experience: Previous leadership experience in a sales and business development environment.Experience in managing remote teams and business partners.A proven ability to coach for performance and influence peers to achieve sales results.Experience in people and/or performance management.Demonstrated ability to use customer insights and commercial acumen to drive performance and achieve profitable growth targets.If this role sounds like the challenge you have been looking for, please submit an application online today.
