At Sanitarium you'll find a genuine connection between our team and the impact they make in our workplace and in our communities.The RoleThe National Account Manager will be pivotal in driving revenue growth for our largest customer, Woolworths, by overseeing our plant-based portfolio. This growth will be achieved within budgetary constraints and through an unwavering commitment to outstanding customer service. Success in this role requires advancing corporate, brand, and category objectives while managing trade promotion budgets effectively. A significant focus will be placed on category development, retail business plan support, and oversight of range reviews for allocated categories.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Revenue Growth: Implement strategies to meet annual revenue and category targets, drive retailer business plans, and manage trade relationships to achieve business goals.Budget & Trade Fund Management: Oversee Trade Spend and Ops budgets, ensuring efficient trade fund processes and accurate reporting.Demand Planning & Forecasting: Collaborate with Demand Planning for accurate forecasting, and coordinate with VRP to enhance supply chain efficiencies.Team & Culture Development: Foster a supportive team environment, aligned with Sanitarium's values, and maintain strong relations with the Field Sales Team.Market Awareness: Monitor competitive activity, provide strategic input, and optimise account plans with Business Managers and peers.Performance & Collaboration: Achieve high performance ratings, coordinate promotional and media plans, and ensure effective trade spend management through collaboration with internal stakeholders.Skills and CompetenciesFinancial Management: Proficient in overseeing the financial dimensions of the Trade Spend model to maximise budget efficiency and support revenue growth.Forecasting Proficiency: Skilled in applying the One Number model to ensure accurate demand planning and alignment with corporate targets.Customer Influence and Engagement: Demonstrated expertise in influencing and engaging customers through varied presentation formats, successfully connecting with diverse audiences.Knowledge/ExperienceTertiary qualifications in Sales, Marketing, or Finance.Minimum of two years of experience in a National Account Role or equivalent business development roles.Proven expertise in developing and executing strategic retail category plans.Strong understanding and commitment to compliance with all relevant legislation, including ACCC regulations applicable to Sanitarium Health Food Company.Knowledge of FMCG and the Independent Grocery market.What do we offer?A role at Sanitarium means more than simply taking a job; it's an invitation to a supportive workplace where our people can experience long and rewarding careers.
