The National Account Manager (COLES) working within the RTD, Cider and Spirits portfolio is a dedicated commercial role responsible for delivering profit, revenue, and other performance targets by deeply understanding the customer's value chain, priorities, and identifying opportunities to jointly create more value. This role focuses on account-specific planning, flawless execution, and fostering a strong, collaborative relationship with Coles to drive mutual growth and success.
Key Accountabilities
Manage the relationship with the customer and their key internal stakeholders to drive collaboration & alignment between our businessesEngage with primary customer contact to conduct joint business planningUnderstand key drivers of customer's business and the banner strategyAchieve agreed brand and commercial targets in line with the national account strategy and individual goals and objectivesMonitor business performance and return on investment including shared post-evaluation of investment activities as a platform for continuous learning and improvementBuild effective long-term relationships with customers by understanding their key business drivers & requirementsMaximise time spent with customers in upsell, cross-sell, and brand building by effectively leveraging CUB & customer game planReview outlet/venue performance and identify opportunities and obstacles to drive growthEmbed high performance standards and a culture of shared learning across the team and across teamsAbout You
Proven track record in sales and customer relationship management dealing with major accountsExperience in negotiating and closing commercial contractsAbility to exceed sales targets using a structured data-driven, planned approachStrategic account planning; able to apply market/industry knowledge and insights to evaluate and develop CUB and customer opportunitiesDeep knowledge of category management principles, tools and best-in-class practiceAccount management – monitoring and managing execution, compliance and resultsSolid sales or marketing experience within a blue-chip consumer goods company advantageousTrade/Liquor knowledge preferredPlease note, advertising will continue across the rest of December with next steps/further communication to commence from the week of the 6th of Jan.
