Job DescriptionReporting to the National Business Manager – Major Grocery, you will oversee and grow relationships with key grocery clients, including Coles and Woolworths, to drive business growth and operational excellence.
In this role, you will implement strategic revenue-driving initiatives and lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure swift market entry for new and existing products.
This position requires analytical and strategic skills to leverage market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and refine growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities: Analyse weekly revenue and sales reports to identify variances against budgets.Forecast weekly sales and volume for major grocery accounts.Evaluate the ROI of promotional programs to optimise future promotional planning.Develop and execute promotional plans aligned with both customer strategies and financial goals.Introduce new product development (NPD) initiatives and lines to major grocery partners.Coordinate with the Retail Marketing Manager to fulfill point-of-sale (POS) and promotional requirements.Relay customer-specific priorities and promotions to the Field Sales Manager for seamless execution.Identify market gaps and drive NPD initiatives to capitalize on emerging opportunities.Update and maintain customer-facing portals with support from development teams and stakeholders.Oversee product information updates in Forest (or similar systems) to reflect pricing and product changes accurately.Manage GS1 barcode database and SKU library.Engage in weekly NPD and project meetings to keep the Sales Management Team informed of updates.
