The role Reporting to the National Business Manager – Pharmacy, the National Account Manager, Pharmacy is responsible for managing day-to-day relationships with assigned Australian pharmacy retailers as well as supporting the NBM with other accounts. This role will take the lead on managing one our key Australian pharmacy retailers (Priceline) as well our New Zealand retailers via our third-party Distributor partner, whilst the current associate is on Parental Leave. With a focus on continued growth and expansion, your priority will be to assist in developing and implementing the AU retail and wholesale sales business plan, driving its implementation to deliver on agreed upon company revenue targets. You will manage your customers, considering their strategic requirements and closely understanding your P&L in order to maximise both sets of opportunities. You will critically forecast and plan to ensure full availability of products to retailers and assist in managing business inventory investment. You will work closely with internal teams to integrate sales objectives into the broader activities of the business, identifying strategic Business Development opportunities with existing and new accounts and delivering on agreed upon business growth targets. Key responsibilities Effectively manage assigned retailers by building strong mutually beneficial relationships to ensure delivery of targets Contribute to the customer centricity mantra by developing strategic partnerships with clients Develop account specific stock and sales plans to align with financial targets and company goals Develop annual joint business plans, driving alignment to the plan both internally and with retailer/s Direct ownership of forecasting and consumption patterns aligned to the Fiscal Year planning calendar Providing all Wholesale and Sell through forecasts, account reporting and other sales reports requested Working with inventory management and demand planning team to build and maintain an accurate inventory holding and forecast Review and negotiate retail price positioning, price structures and terms to validate our position in each market Review terms, space, location and special offers with retailers to satisfy company goals set with distributors. Revenue and Gross Profit budget responsibility for all relevant customers Ensure trade marketing, investment plans and product placement goals are met to communicate clearly the Bondi Sands brand / campaign messages (in collaboration with APAC & Global marketing stakeholders) Identify, approach and secure new retail partner / category expansion opportunities across AU customers The ideal candidate This is an unbelievable career opportunity for a passionate and driven Account Manager with at least 5+ years' sales experience backed by a proven track record managing a portfolio and demonstrated experience working across different marketplaces, namely AUS and NZ. Pre-existing relationships with major AU Pharmacy retailers Priceline and Chemist Warehouse would be advantageous, and with your understanding of these retailers, you will be well primed to hit the ground running with your assigned accounts, ensuring our brand is always elevated on their shelves. You are commercially and mathematically astute, with strong project management skills and an ability to influence and negotiate with all levels of stakeholders. You can thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, team environment.
