National Account Manager

Responsibilities: Identify and research new and existing customers across Australia.Set up promotions with retailers to increase product exposure and sales volume.Review and optimise retail product ranges in collaboration with the Country Manager and Marketing Manager.Negotiate and finalise business deals with buyers, planners, and category managers from leading retailers to secure long-term contracts and partnerships.Identify and secure business opportunities, focusing on innovative applications of the products.Collaborate with the Country Manager, Global management, and Marketing Manager to design and market new retail product ranges.Manage and grow consumer retail markets, constantly seeking to generate new business.Qualifications: Proven track record in account management, adept at cultivating existing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities, or pursuing a career switch as a Buyer/Category Manager, with experience working for large Australian retailers.Deep understanding of the consumer retail industry, with experience selling to buyers, category managers, and planners.Skilled in negotiating and closing projects with headquarters and stores, including successful range reviews and promotions.Experience in distribution management is a strong advantage.Demonstrates key soft skills such as open-mindedness, analytical thinking, professionalism, and a strong drive for sales.Residing in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, with full working rights.Company Overview: Our client is a leading international company specialising in connection tools.
