The Country Chef Bakery Co. is seeking an engaging, experienced and hands-on National Account Manager to join our team (Melbourne based).

About This Opportunity The National Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Country Chef's major clients. They are responsible for managing and nurturing these relationships for mutually beneficial partnerships.
Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Develop and maintain customer-focused strategic plans to identify and drive activity in line with budget and outcome expectations.Manage the account portfolio with accountability and a hands-on approach.Activate proposals and programs that promote sales growth.Develop & maintain data that identifies spending patterns, account trends and identifies opportunities for sales growth.Engage and grow relationships with internal stakeholders to leverage delivery of objectives and targets.Develop and negotiate proposals and contracts for clients.Ensure our Key Account customers continue to be provided with exceptional service.Travel locally and interstate as required.Attend relevant training and/or quality meetings when required.Keep up to date with the latest market trends and best practices.About You Qualification in Marketing, Communications, or related relevant discipline (would be an advantage, but not mandatory).Demonstrated experience managing a major national account (Coles and/or Woolworths) - essentialSound understanding of and how to interpret scan data - essentialHighly self-motivated with an attitude that is key to successDemonstrated high level organisational and planning skillsAbility to work to deadlines and under pressure, to establish priorities, and to work across multidisciplinary teams.Able to understand and interpret market insights and develop robust category plans with key customersHigh level written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail and professional mannerStrong business acumenDemonstrated capacity to work autonomously in a team environment Able to display excellent judgement, drive, and initiativeWhy Join Us This role offers the unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our organisation's growth.
