This is a key role working with a small, dedicated support team where you will be responsible for delivering on revenue objectives by winning new business, developing existing client relationships, and establishing long term & profitable relationships on major customers within the facilities space.
You'll be a self-starter & a hunter, who can readily create rapport with people at all levels whilst keeping sight of the bigger picture.
Key Responsibilities Manage customer relationships at senior levels at both corporate and major sites, including solution selling through prospecting into new and existing accountsUnderstand the client's objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes and form long-term business partnerships to leverage revenue from the relationship and promote Rexel as a key supplier from project to projectDevelop and implement effective strategies to retain key existing customers as well as pursue and pitch for new business opportunitiesWork collaboratively on executing your strategic sales plans in consultation with the National Customer Engagement Team, senior leadership team and regional stakeholdersNegotiate with suppliers to improve margin and price competitivenessUpdate CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) to ensure customer details and opportunities are current and accuratePromote and implement Rexel's eBusiness solution, and other value-add initiatives, to key customersWork with the branch network to achieve service levels and capture opportunities within key accountsA bit about you Previous experience in managing large key accounts and winning new customers/projects, particularly within the facilities market segmentMinimum 2 years Key Account Management at a senior level with a proven history of solution sellingExpert product and industry knowledge (ideally within the electrical industry) backed by outstanding negotiation skills and the ability to influence at all levelsA proven hunter and relationship manager with strong conceptual and analytical skillsNetworking skills, experienced dealing at multiple levels within client organisations and the ability to translate client needs into a complete solutionAbility to understand and apply market intelligence to sales strategyStrong commercial acumen and attention to detailIntermediate Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Experience in using CRM to manage sales, customers and sales territoriesWhy join Rexel?
