As a National Account Executive, you'll be the driving force behind our brands (WD-40, WD-40 Specialist, WD-40 Bike, no vac, Solvol & 3-IN-ONE) in the national account landscape. Your mission? To maximize revenue and growth across accounts within the industrial, hardware, automotive, and grocery channels.
What You'll Be Doing Sales Excellence:Exceed sales targets for assigned National Accounts. Customer-Centric Approach:Understand customer needs and deliver tailored sales presentations. Strategic Planning:Develop joint business plans for medium to long term time frames. Sales Leadership:Drive category management and promotional strategies. Profit Maximization:Optimize sales, distribution, and profit with the use of company resources. Data-Driven Insights:Analyze customer results to define adequate actions in relation to the customer and company's strategy. Negotiation Skills:Lead contract negotiations to boost sales and EBITDA. Monitor the ongoing application of agreed terms. Business Expansion:Identify and convert new business, new distribution and incremental growth opportunities. Brand Investment:Manage annual trade plans for brand growth. Collaboration:Support marketing initiatives and below-the-line activities such as; trade shows, sampling programs, training, display programs, key activities. Accountability:Accurate reporting, forecasting, and budget management. Digital Integration:Align retail strategy with digital marketing and ecommerce efforts across accounts. What You'll Bring To The Role Minimum of 2 years managing key accounts. Sales representative and/or trade marketing experience, with a desire to advance your sales career. Multichannel experience (industrial, hardware, automotive, or grocery preferred). Demonstrated ability to achieve ambitious sales and growth targets. Successful track record in selling new products and delivering compelling presentations. Exposure to profit and loss (P&L) development and management. Higher school certificate required; Bachelor's degree in business or a relevant field is desirable. Current and valid driver's license. Total Rewards Learning and development based culture.
