Reporting to the Narrogin Hay Site Manager, we are seeking an experienced candidate with a background in farming and/or in agricultural to take on the role of Hay Intake and Quality Coordinator.
Narrogin Hay exports approximately 100,000 tonnes of hay and straw per year, which equates to an intake of approx 2,500 truckloads of hay and dispatch approx. 4000 containers of hay per year. This role will see you responsible for ensuring a high quality intake and dispatch of hay.
Responsibilities: Ensure movement of hay is conducted in a safe manner at all times;Provide regular communication with farmers, growers, truck drivers to ensure the movement of hay from farm to site is managed appropriately.Test and ensure the quality of hay and all relevant protocols are complied with at all times.Liaise with Sales and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction of quality of hay receivedCoordinate transport in accordance the Production Schedule and site storage and working capital constraints.Provide feedback to the Hay Buyers on quality.Maintain shed maps daily and ensure systems accurately reflect actual site inventories.Coordinate the scheduling and overseeing of Load Operators tasks. 25th June, 2024 About Us
