YOUR OPPORTUNITY Due to continued project growth, and to support our NACP Projects team in Darwin, we are expanding our team of experienced construction professionals and are now looking to appoint a suitably qualified Project Engineer to start in the first quarter of 2025, who is able to:
Demonstrate an understanding of simple construction processes; Assist with coordination of critical building activities in conjunction with the Site Manager; Liaise and effectively communicate with clients, architects, consultants and subcontractors; Drive compliance and quality on the project; Manage subcontractor inspection and test plans; Manage preparation, submission and outcome of RFI and Site Instructions; Manage and coordinate the preparation of all completion documentation, including O&M manuals, approvals and certifications; Work actively within a team to achieve project milestones. This role will also see you highly involved in services and commissioning management, and is highly advantageous to individuals with mechanical engineering experience.
You will have a tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or similar and proven experience in the Australian, preferably across aviation and/or defence industry projects. The successful candidate will also need to provide a current police check, proof of residency/working entitlement and identity verification information prior to being made a formal offer. Australian citizens who are eligible to apply for/currently hold a AGSVA security clearance would be preferred.
