About the role MVENTECH is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the technical delivery of high-impact projects for some of the world's leading mining companies. Based in Brisbane, this role will place you at the forefront of mining innovation, where you'll combine your technical expertise, leadership, and problem-solving skills to deliver exceptional results. Here you will be responsible for ensuring project excellence while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Typical projects would entail technical study management, implementing operational readiness programs and supporting across project related services.
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, with at least 8 years of project engineering experience, preferably in mining or mineral processing. They should have proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to produce detailed technical reports. Desirable attributes include analytical problem-solving skills, a thorough understanding of mining systems, proficiency in project management tools, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. The role will also entail travelling to site from time to time both in-country and internationally depending on project specific requirements.
