As the representative member of the Australian Music Industry Network (AMIN), MusicACT connects local industry professionals to national resources and expertise.Who We SeekMusicACT is looking for a passionate, connected, and resourceful professional to manage and deliver our core professional development program. The right candidate will thrive in an events-oriented role and have a solid understanding of Canberra's music industry needs. We are looking for someone to manage the events from a logistics perspective and to market the program effectively.Position DescriptionAs the Program Manager, you will:Implement and manage a monthly professional development series aimed at enhancing local musicians' skills and opportunities.Handle all aspects of event planning, stakeholder engagement, and budget management.Collaborate closely with the Director to identify relevant program content and coordinate marketing and outreach for each event (including but not limited to social media marketing).Maintain strong communication with musicians and other industry members to ensure event relevance and engagement.Selection CriteriaStrong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.Proven experience in the local music industry, with event management experience.Familiarity with social media marketing and promotion in the music industry.Passion for supporting ACT's diverse music scene.Flexible, part-time role: 2 days a week, work-from-home options available.Program Manager Position SalarySalary is 0.4 FTE (16 hours per week) at $35 per hour, which is approximately $29,120.For a full-time equivalent (FTE) role, this would correspond to an annual salary of $72,800.How to ApplyTo apply, please email a cover letter (1 page) addressing how you meet the selection criteria, along with your resume, to ****** by midnight 7th December 2024.
